Friday 23rd june - MALDON First Olivers Garden Centre in Witham then on to Maldon, great for exploration with a walk along the River Blackwater.

Saturday 14th October - OXFORD - It has so much to offer. Shopping, river cruises, a castle, museums, famous university, botanic gardens and lots more to make a great day out.

Saturday 9th march Poplar nurseries near Colchester. Spring is just around the corner, good time to visit one of the best nurseries in the southeast. Then a bit of shopping or sight-seeing. Colchester Castle is a huge Norman keep, built on the foundations of a Roman temple. Its museum displays artefacts up to 2,500 years old. Also in the park is Hollytrees Museum, a Georgian townhouse displaying 3 centuries of clothing, clocks and decorative arts. £29 PP plus any entrance fees
Friday 5th April. Canterbury is one of Britain’s finest cathedral cities and stands on the River Stour in the heart of Kent. There is plenty to keep visitors interested - visit the famous Canterbury Cathedral, take a river cruise or visit the market and the many shops. £28 PP
Tuesday 16th April Ipswich. Historic port of Ipswich, the waterfront, River Orwell, Ipswich transport museum or a day spent on retail therapy and exploring. The museum is a 1 mile walk away via Fore St. or an 18 minutes journey by bus. £29 PP The museum is free.

Monday 13th May The Riverhill Himalayen Gardens. Riverhill is renowned for its beautiful and historic 12 acres of gardens, amazing views across the Weald of Kent and spectacular collection of Rhododendrons & Azaleas . Mondays are quiet here as it is closed to the general public, open only to groups like us. The restaurant will be closed so probably a good idea to take a flask and a sarnie. £41 per person including the entrance fee.
Wed 22nd May Walmer Castle & gardens. Built by King Henry VIII (not personally) and perched on the picturesque Kent coastline, Walmer Castle is one of the most fascinating visitor attractions in the South East. 19th century pleasure gardens, sunken glen garden, woodland walk. indoors, the castle and the Wellington museum. There is a short walk from coach stop to entrance that is partly through a grass field, probably not suitable for electric scooters or wheelchairs. £42 pp or £32 for English Heritage members with proof of membership
Wed 3rd July RHS WISLEY. the flagship garden of the Royal Horticultural Society and one of the great gardens of the world. Near their best will be Phlox, Helenium, Salvia, Nepeta. £38 PP
