Wed 2nd September Safron Waldon or Duxford If you want to visit the Duxford Museum, we will drop you off on the way, everybody else will go on to Safron. Then pick you up on the way home. £30 PP

Wed 14th Oct the Shuttleworth collection. vintage aircraft from 1909-1950, agricultural and steam exhibits, veteran vehicles, parkland and the Swiss garden.  £47 PP includes entrance to all areas.

Saturday 24th Oct. The Elm Park Horticultural guild presents an evening of great, ever popular, toe tapping, golden oldy music.  19.30 till 22.00   Bring your own food and drink. St Albans Church Hall, Langdale Gdns, Elm Park. £10 Book through Julie on 07903 820584

Wed 17th March  Bury St Edmunds. On market day. The Abbey Gardens & Ruins: Wander through the gorgeous gardens and explore the ruins of the 11th-century Abbey of St Edmund, once one of the most powerful monasteries in Europe. The Beautiful St Edmundsbury Cathedral (free entrance) is in the heart of Bury St Edmunds and is a mix of ancient and modern architecture. The Cathedral replica in 200,000 LEGO® bricks now completed. The Green king brewery is based here. There is a visitor centre next to the brewery, and tours run regularly.   £32 PP

Wed 7th April Alderborough first then Snape Maltings See both ends of the famous sailors path a historic 6-mile (approx. 11km) walking trail connecting Snape Maltings and Aldeburgh.  £30

Tues 20th April Tiptree jam and village life Museum and Tea room, then Perrywood garden centre. £29 pp

Tues 25th May Southwold. Southwold is a charming, seaside town on the Suffolk Heritage Coast, famed for its working lighthouse, colourful beach huts, and award-winning pier. Known as a "quintessential" English resort, it features a sandy beach, bustling harbour, and the historic Adnams Brewery. £31 PP

4th June Maldon Promenade Park, largest waterside park in Essex.  Public gardens with pergolas, shrub borders, Anglia in Bloom award winning drought garden, three-dimensional carpet bedding displays and many floral borders. Riverside walks offering views of the estuary and its abundant wildlife. Short walk into the town and high st.  £29 pp

Sat 26th June Hemmingford Abbotts. Flower Festival.  Only open for two days every other year and this is it.  a wonderful day at the Flower Festival in the picturesque village of Hemingford Abbots, Over 20 stunning gardens open, with home-made teas and cakes. Food vans by the Village Hall.  Highlight of the festival is the spectacular floral arrangements in the village church, St Margaret of Antioch, Music in the church to be provided by three organists and a harpist. Exhibitions of historic cars, vintage motorbikes, and classic tractors.  Morris dancers perform in front of the Axe & Compass pub, where you can enjoy real ales, hog roasts and light lunches from noon. A picnic area for bring your own on the playing field. Or a ride on the Electric River Boat along the River Great Ouse.   £50 pp

9th July Cambridge County town of Cambridgeshire. stunning medieval architecture, picturesque riverside walks and punt rides. cake and tea at Fitzbillies, historic colleges like King’s and Trinity, taking a guided punt along the River Cam, and finish with a pint at the centuries-old “The Eagle” pub, opened in 1667 the second-oldest pub in the city. Famous for its RAF Bar (where WWII pilots wrote messages on the ceiling). visit Trumpington Street a major historic street in central Cambridge. World class museums, the Fitzwilliam is the art and antiquities museum of the University of Cambridge. It is located on Trumpington Street opposite Fitzwilliam Street. (free Entry) and the Museum of zoology is one of Cambridge's major attractions, displaying thousands of specimens spanning the entire animal kingdom. Entry to the Museum is free. Botanic gardens the garden covers an area of 40 acres almost all of which is on level ground. It holds a plant collection of over 8,000 plant species from all over the world to facilitate teaching and research. £32

Saturday 17th July Leonardslee.  240 acres of grade 1 listed woodland lakes and gardens. Free gardens shuttle bus. Dolls house museum. The extensive collection depicts the Edwardian estate and neighbouring villages at 1:12 scale, with landscapes and characters acting out day-to-day activities.  See the wallabies & baby joeys at the wallaby enclosure being fed from 12:00 daily. £44 PP including entrance to all. areas

27th July  Broadstairs. charming Victorian seaside town on the Kent coast, famous for its seven sandy beaches, dramatic chalk cliffs, and historic ties to Charles Dickens.  £34 pp

17th August Hastings Lots to see and do. The old town is full of charm with half-timbered houses, narrow streets and passageways, known locally as ‘twittens’. the seafront, where you’ll find a classic mix of beach views, amusements, and places to eat. The Pier, a beautifully restored Victorian pier. East Cliff Railway, the steepest funicular railway in the UK. At the top stunning views over the town, coastline, and countryside, as well as access to scenic walking paths. £33 PP

31st August Eastbourne and beachyhead £34,     

1st October Royal Windsor  So much to do here.  For me a trip on the Thames or a long walk in the Thames parks or maybe the castle. the oldest continually inhabited castle in the world. £34 PP

Fri 3rd DEC Polhill one of our largest garden centres. Christmas lights and decorations display, great for unusual Christmas gifts. Farmers market, amazing butchers and delicatessen.  £30 PP

DURRANT HOUSE Hotel Bideford north Devon 17th to 21st May 2027

A 3-star hotel on the outskirts of the historic port of Bideford with views over the Torridge estuary, Treat yourself to spa services, such as a hot stone massage, a manicure/pedicure or reflexology. Free in-room WiFi, with a speed of 50+ Mbps, is available to all guests, along with a hair salon and an arcade/games room. Live entertainment.  From Bus stop outside hotel, a short bus ride to Bideford old town, Appledore, Westwood-Ho, Barnstable, Ilfracoombe and more.

The 3 star Ocean View Hotel  Shanklin IOW – 13th to 17th  September 2027

Tranquil garden area, complete with stunning sea views over Sandown Bay. Hotel is ideally located opposite the Shanklin Cliff Lift, providing direct access down to the beach. Shanklin town centre, Shanklin old village and the Chine all within easy walking distance. Bus routes, Shanklin train station (they use old northern line rolling stock between Shanklin and Ryde. It also stops at a heritage line station, and taxi services are all within 5 minutes from the hotel with links to get you all over the island and back. With coffee-shop, bar, Canadian pine sprung dance floor, games room, restaurant, and entertainment most evenings.

  • Holidays: £50 deposit. Balance due 10 weeks prior to departure.

  • Refund Policy: Deposits are refundable/transferable for 10 days after payment. Full refunds issued if the company cancels or due to government lockdowns.
